threshold

threshold exhibited work by 7 students from various departments within BIAD.

Running from 12th-14th of March 2004, approximately 300 people visited the vacant retail unit we converted into a temporary gallery space:

By this stage the weather project comprised of about 250 jars and other containers filled with weather from all around the world.

Rather than select out only a few for display, it was decided that it would be a great opportunity to get all of the jars together in one space.
more jars and more turf

This required the construction of a specially designed 16 foot long table!

In addition to all the jars, the exhibit also included sponsored weather collecting kits for visitors to take away with them; examples of the envelopes the jars got posted back in; and, an interactive CD-ROM presenting material to supplement the (old) weatherproject website.

You can view the supplementary stuff here and the threshold website here. (Both will open in a new window.)
